Burnfeed
News Feed Eradicator for Safari
News Feed Eradicator is a free, open-source extension for Chrome and Firefox. There is no Safari version. Burnfeed started in 2022 as exactly that: a way to burn the feed in Safari on a Mac, with a quote in its place.

Which should you use?
If you browse in Chrome or Firefox, News Feed Eradicator is free and excellent. If you live in Safari on a Mac, it isn't an option, and that's the gap Burnfeed fills, with a menu that feels like part of Safari.
